The Rector of Kutaisi University is planning to enter politics!
“Georgian Dream” has announced the names of their candidates for the local self-government elections. All majoritarian candidates for Kutaisi City Council have already been presented to the public. Among these is the candidate for Kakhianouri constituency – the Rector of our university, Professor Lela Kelbakiani.
Each staff member and student of KU has full confidence that if Prof. Kelbakiani wins these elections she will be able to bring a lot of new ideas and initiatives to solving problems in the fields of cultural, educational, infrastructure development or any other areas. She will certainly spare no effort to promote the interests of our city, contribute to its development and prosperity.
