Kutaisi University is participating in the ERASMUS + Institutional Development Project “Role of Universities in the Development of the Region” (RURD). Four European universities are participating in the project: Santiago de Compostela (Spain), University of Graz (Austria), University of Masaryk (Czech Republic), University of Vitaut Magnus (Kaunas, Lithuania) and 9 Georgian regional universities, as well as the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.
On February 17, 2020, within the framework of the aforementioned RURD project, a national consortium meeting was held at Akaki Tsereteli State University with the participation of representatives of Georgian regional universities. The details of the project were discussed at the meeting, as well as analysis of the work packages to be implemented within the project. Each university presented a SWOT analysis of its mission, vision and strategic development.
