Kutaisi University announces an internal competition to select a working group of students participating in quality assurance processes. The purpose of creating a student group is, on the one hand, to increase student’s awareness of the university’s quality assurance activities and mechanisms, and on the other hand, to increase their participation and involvement in the development process, which will help the university develop more student-centered quality assurance approaches.

Students will be selected from such educational programs operating at Kutaisi University, such as:
• Business Administration (Bachelor’s Degree Program);
• Economics (undergraduate education program);
• Tourism (undergraduate educational program);
• Accounting and Auditing (Master’s Degree Program);
• Finance (Master’s Degree Program); • Economics (Doctoral Education Program).

By open competition, one student will be selected from each educational program for a period of one year.

The functions and responsibilities of the student group are:

Participate in the evaluation and development of internal, quality assurance mechanisms of the University.

Requirements:

• High academic achievement in the relevant educational program (GPA> 3.0);

• MS Office (Word good, Excel good);

• Knowledge of English (speaking, writing) B1 level (preferable).

Competition Details:

• Deadlines for receiving applications: from 1 to 15 November 2021;
• Interested persons should submit a resume and cover letter (in the desired format) to the e-mail: qa@unik.edu.ge;
• The first stage of the competition: selection of documents;
• The second stage of the competition: an interview with the selection committee. The candidate is required to indicate the text in the subject field: Student attending the meetings of the educational program committee (indicating the name of the relevant program).

Interview Criteria:
• Ability to communicate orally (3 points);
• Persuasiveness of answers (3 points);
• Motivation (3 points);
• Analytical thinking skills (3 points);
• Knowledge of field specifics at the appropriate level (3 points);
• General impression (3 points).

The final results of the assessment are calculated by counting the arithmetic mean score of the assessments.

The contestant must earn more than 50% of the marks. In the case of competition, the candidate with the best result will be selected.
