Kutaisi University is one of the participants in the international project “Bologna Hub Peer Support”. The project aims at fostering the implementation of the Bologna key commitments and the application of the Bologna tools at higher education institutions throughout the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Higher education institutions (HEIs) that are interested in discussing challenges, exchanging experiences, and developing practical reforms jointly with bologna experts, are encouraged to apply for participation in the project.
The project includes workshops and visits with the participation of the following international expert -Prof. Valker Gemlih. Prof. Gelmih is a professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück, Germany. He has extensive experience working in the education system. He is a participant of numerous educational projects (EU, Council of Europe, GIZ, National Ministries, World Bank, HRK, DAAD). He also has immense experience in implementing three-step programs and developing quality assurance.
Within the project, the expert evaluates and consults Kutaisi University in three areas:
Formulation of Learning Outcomes; Curriculum development/modularization Implementation of the three-cycle; Bachelor-Master-Doctorate degree structure.
