The blood donation program was successfully implemented within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed between the Faculty of Medicine and ” Blood Center” at Kutaisi University.
Kutaisi University students as well as administrative and academic staff participated in the donation.
The purpose of the event was to popularize the idea of selfless donation in Georgia and maintain the necessary supply of all blood groups and Rhesus components.
All adults and healthy people can donate blood once every 2 months. University students and staff were given the opportunity to donate blood and save other people’s lives.
It should be noted that twenty donors took part in the organized action, which is twice as many saved lives.
