A blood donation campaign was organized in Kutaisi University with the cooperation of Faculty of Medicine and “Blood Center”.
On June 14, the World Health Organization celebrates the selfless blood donor day every year.
The purpose of the mentioned event is to raise awareness about safe blood, the importance of blood products and the critically important role of selfless, regular donors.
A sufficient supply of safe blood is possible through regular blood donation by selfless donors.
Kutaisi University students and staff were given the opportunity to donate blood and save more lives.
