Training was Held on the Topic “Innovative Teaching-Learning Methods. Austrian Experience”

Constant updating and of teaching methods based on the experience of participating in international projects is one of the strategic tasks. In order to carry out this task, on Friday, June 8, at 16:00, in the conference Hall of Kutaisi University was held a training on “Innovative Learning-Teaching Methods. Austrian Experience, ” led by Assistant Professor Elguja Deisadze, and Giorgi Chumburidze, an invited teacher. Training was held within the framework of the international project “CURE” mobility in Austria (PH OO and PLUS universities).
The biggest interest among the participants of the training was caused by the innovative method of teaching and learning – Values and Knowledge Education. Values and Knowledge Education (VaKE) is a didactic method that connects knowledge and values on a constructive basis.
VaKE as a tool was developed by Jean-Luc Patry, a professor at the University of Salzburg. Professor Patry and his team have been working for years to develop this tool and introduce it into the education system, exploring the results.

During the training was announced the visit of VaKE’s methodologist in Georgia, who will carry out a two-day practical-methodological seminar on June 29-30, at Kutaisi University.
