With the initiative of Multicultural Education and Culture Research Center of Sukhumi State University and EU projects international projects DOIT, CURE, ASSET, DARE, ABC coordinators, on May 9, 2019 in Tbilisi, at Sukhumi State University was held the project ideas diseminatsiisadmi Conference on “EU Project LEDs DOIT, CURE, ASSET, DARE, ABC and paradigms of modern education “. Conference was dedicated to the project ideas of dissemination.
The conference was dedicated to the EU-funded joint Georgian-Israel international projects and was specially held on the Independence Day of Israel.
The conference was opened by Shabtai Tsur – Ambassador of Israel to Georgia.
The welcoming speech was delivered by:
- Lika Glonti – ERASMUS + Coordinator of the Georgian National Office;
- Ronda Sophie – Head of the International Center of Multicultural Education, Professor at Gordon College;
- Lia Akhaladze – Dean of the Faculty of Education, Sokhumi State University
3 members of CURE project group of Kutaisi University attended the conference:
- Leila Kelbakiani – Rector of Kutaisi University and CURE project manager
- Elguja Deisadze – Head of CURE project group
- Mariam Kilanava – CURE project research-teacher
After the plenary session, the work continued in the sections. In the section №2 (Civic Education: Research and Learning / Teaching) Mariam Kilanava and Elguja Deisadze presented a special research paper “Integration of Civic Education with VaKE Method in the English Language Teaching Process” to the audience. They were awarded by the special certificates after the dissemination conference.
