Kutaisi University And Austrian Platform For Interdisciplinary Projects Performed 3-Day Workshop For X-XII Students

Kutaisi University and the Austrian organization “Platform for Interdisciplinary Projects – PIP” held a 3-day workshop for X-XII grade students. Coding workshop included 2 parts:

Training and workshop – February 22-23;

12-hour hackathon _ February 24th

The project was led by invited Austrian experts who introduced the participants to Harvard coding training programs.

On the first day, Georgian and foreign experts introduced the students to the issues of programming, computer science and information technology. The next day was devoted to discussing the CS50 lectures at Harvard University and its practical training in a specially designed computer lab. Participants were fully acquainted with the basics of programming, went through the beginnings of the programming language “Python”, learned how to write scripts using the program “Screening” and create indie games.

The last day of the workshop was dedicated to Hackathon. Students were asked to create a computer proგram using the theoretical knowledge learned in the previous days.
