Quality assurance service

Quality management is a daily part of Kutaisi University's activities and is the responsibility of all persons involved in the process. The quality of university activity is derived from the competence, responsibility and ethical behavior of members of the university community.

At Kutaisi University, the main values ​​and approaches of quality assurance activities are: transparency, publicity, objectivity, reliability, continuity and validity.

The quality assurance system functions according to the principle: plan, implement, evaluate, develop. The functioning of the system in compliance with the mentioned principle is ensured by means of quality assurance mechanisms developed at Kutaisi University.

Quality assurance mechanisms involve continuous assessment and development of university activities and resources in order to maintain and improve quality.

The quality assurance service cooperates with all structural units/officials of the university, academic and invited staff, students, employers and other interested parties to achieve the set goals.

Quality assurance mechanisms involve internal and external quality assessment.

Internal quality assurance mechanisms of the university include all the main aspects of the university's activities and are divided into three main directions: teaching and services, research and management process:

The quality assurance service is guided in its activities by the document "Quality assurance mechanisms and procedures for using assessment results", which summarizes the internal and external quality assessment processes, describes what additional documentation it relies on within the framework of quality assurance mechanisms, and also describes what tools the assessment process is using and How evaluation results are used to refine and improve processes and outcomes.
