Faculty of Medicine
The faculty aims to train competent, patient-friendly and care-oriented doctors who will be equipped with knowledge and clinical/research skills matching modern international standards, who will be actively involved in learning, life span and contribute to the welfare of society.
The one-level English-language program of a medical degree is accredited in accordance with the legislation of Georgia; It complies with modern international requirements and is based on the standards of the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME).
Kutaisi University is a member of the Association of European Medical Education (AMEE). The association is the world's leading medical education organization with 90 member countries, enabling staff and students to become more actively involved in international conferences, seminars and activities related to medical education.
The university has a clinical skills development center that allows students to learn and practice all the manipulations they will need for professional work through moulages and mannequins. The equipment in the center meets international standards and is gradually updated.
The university has: biochemical and histological, physiological and microbiological/immunological laboratories.

The Faculty of Medicine of Kutaisi University offers one of the best educational programs in the country, and to achieve the learning outcomes, the university is equipped with suitable material and technical base, study halls, compulsory and auxiliary library fund, electronic resources and international databases. The university has laboratories of physiology, chemistry/biochemistry, microbiology-immunology and histology, 3D anatomical theater, interactive cabinet of bodies, simulation laboratories where practical studies are carried out. The examination center is actively working at Kutaisi University, as well as dedicated work space for academic staff and many others.
