Scholarship and Financial Support
At Kutaisi University, there is a scholarship awarding rule and an individual payment schedule policy. This allows students to receive a scholarship based on high academic performance and create a customized payment schedule.
Additionally, special preferential mechanisms are in place for students belonging to various vulnerable groups. Kutaisi University also supports students displaced from the occupied territories of Georgia and family members of military servicemen, providing benefits as outlined in signed memorandums.
At Kutaisi University, a scholarship is awarded to students with high academic performance. The scholarship is based on the academic results of the previous semester, which are determined by calculating the credit-weighted average score of assessments received by the student in each course during the semester. To qualify for the scholarship, a student must have received at least an A grade (91-100 points) in all study courses, including the final exam, without the need for additional exams.
The scholarship for Georgian-language educational programs is set at 125 GEL (including income tax), and for English-language educational programs, it is set at 250 GEL (including income tax). The scholarship is issued through non-cash payment over one academic semester (a period of 5 months). If a student's status is suspended or terminated, they lose the right to receive the scholarship.
The University allows students to take advantage of an individual tuition payment schedule. For example, students have the option to divide the annual tuition fee into ten parts or create an individual schedule tailored to their needs.
