At the invitation of the Faculty of Medicine at Kutaisi University, American radiation oncology professor Krystyna Kiel held a public lecture “The Art of Radiation Therapy” for Kutaisi University students and interested attendees.
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in both men and women, with 85% of cases linked to tobacco use. Primary prevention and screening tests provide opportunities to save lives.
The lecture was interactive, with students actively responding to questions posed by the professor and discussing thematic cases, sparking great interest among the audience.
