Kutaisi University has a center for the promotion of scientific and research activities, which:

• promotes the scientific-research activities of academic and invited staff and students employed at the university;
• systematically informs staff and students about research grant competitions, individual research scholarships, local and international conferences;
• assists university staff and students in finding scientific-research grant programs and preparing scientific-research projects;
• Conducts reports and lectures at seminars by researchers and professors from abroad.
