On November 26-30 the final meeting of participants of Project: 158739-TEMPUS-DE-TEMPUS-JPHES-WeNeT - E-Learning Network for further Education and Training in Tourism was held in the University of Padeborn, Germany.
This project is the result of three years’ work of the higher educational institutions and relevant ministries of the following countries: Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Georgia, Ukraine and Belarus.
The outcomes and achievements of the project were summarized in an interesting and exhaustive speech by Prof. Lela Kelbakiani, the Rector of Kutaisi University. Distance learning portal was also presented at the meeting.
The busy working schedule was followed by a visit to Munster, one of the historical cities of Germany and a dinner on the last day of the meeting.
This final meeting was another step in strengthening the existing links and served as a good foundation for future contacts, joint projects and plans of universities of various European cities.
