“Kutaisi University Student Research and Development Center” was set up only a few months ago, but in spite of its short history the students have managed to carry out an impressive amount of work. They carried out surveys in banks, markets, educational institutions, among various social groups concerning a number of topical issues and trends. The data collection was followed by analysis and processing of the information.
On May 21, the students presented the results of one of such studies in KU conference hall. The topic of the presentation was “Modern Trends in Banking Services”. Active members of the center presented their findings to the audience consisting of the academic staff, students, representatives of local self-government and NGOs.
A number of interesting questions were asked and issues and suggestions discussed. The audience also made several recommendations and critical comments that, we hope, young researchers will find helpful in collecting and analyzing data in the future.
