Training of Trainers (ToT) in Bolzano (The Province of South Tirol in Northern Italy)

Within the framework of European TEMPUS Programme "Cruise-T" project 4 representatives of Kutaisi University participated in the training-workshops held in Bolzano last week (April 2-8, 2016). The training-workshops were  divided into 3 sections according to the following thematic areas:

1. Destination Management and Product Development (attended by Lela Kelbakiani - founder of the Kutaisi University and Elguja Deisadze - assistant professor of KU)
2. Hospitality and Hotel Management (Attended by George Tchumburidze - invited specialist)
3. Green & Rural Tourism (Attended by Nino Khazaradze - associate professor of KU)

After completing onsite trainings that were held in EURAC Research Center the trainees had an opportunity to conduct typical site visits (so called field researches) to different tourism destinations of beautiful mountainous province of South Tirol.

The final day of Bolzano meetings was devoted to the discussions of future plans - how Cruise-T project partner universities will use the knowledge and experience gained in Italy in their tourism consultancy services under the framework of the Competence Centers (CCs) established by the project.
