On June 7-10, 2016, in the framework of the European Union's Tempus-project “People” a steering committee meeting and training workshops on HR management were held at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. Two representatives of Kutaisi University (KU) - Director of Kutaisi University Nino Khazaradze and Human Resources Manager Elguja Deisadze – actively participated in Stockholm meetings.
The first three days of the meetings were fully dedicated to the project activities included in WP2 and WP3:
Familiarizing participants (future trainers of partner Universities from Kazakhstan, Armenia and Georgia) with the best practices of HRM at KTH and in Swedish public institutions;
Discussing specific themes of human resources management (Collaboration for Development, Personal Policy, Coaching and etc.);
Evaluating the HR strategic plans of partner universities by applying the critical friend method.
The final day was devoted to the steering committee meeting, during which the leading expert of “PEOPLE” project Alicia Berlanga (UNIVERSITAT POLITECNICA DE CATALUNYA, Barcelona) briefly reviewed on-going activities and announced further steps toward successful completion of the project. According to the project schedule, there are only two project meetings (international conferences) to be held in partner countries: in Georgia (Tbilisi), in September 2016 and in Armenia (Yerevan), in May 2017.
