University Research Projects Competition

From April 20, 2010 Kutaisi University announced a competition of research projects for intra-university grants. 25 000 GEL were allocated for funding these projects. The deadline for submission of research proposals was June 10, 2010.

The following three project proposals were submitted:

1. Regional education market research (Imereti region) – supervisor Assist. Prof. T. Valishvili;
2. Developing strategies for regional economic development in 2011-2015 (Imereti region) – supervisor Porf. N. Chikhladze;
3. Opening new specialized offices at Kutaisi University – supervisor Assist. Prof. T. Valishvili

The competition panel reviewed and approved two projects:

“Improving strategic development plan of Kutaisi University on the basis of the marketing research and analysis of the environment”– 93 points;

“Developing strategies for regional economic development in 2011-2015 (Imereti region)” – 95 points.

Both projects were approved by the Academic Council of Kutaisi University.
